Angkor Wat hotels and Siem Reap hotels range from budget guest houses to luxury resorts and properties. The vast majority of Angkor Wat hotels, however, offer limited services and cater to backpackers and budget travelers.

The Angkor Wat hotels along National Route #6, often offer cheap accommodation but they suffer from being on the busy highway, away from the nightlife of the town centre. Many guests prefer to book with a Siem Reap hotel and benefit from the ease of access to shops, old market, restaurants and bars.
